Who they are
EMURGE is a Tobago Carnival band that plays at night. For Tobago Carnival 2026 it presents Sambadrome: Echoes of Rio, a love letter to Rio de Janeiro's Carnaval: in Rio the Sambódromo is where samba schools spend a year preparing for one lit-up crossing, and EMURGE brings that runway energy home to Tobago with samba rhythm, Caribbean bacchanal and a night sky full of fire and sound.1
The 2026 Night Mas
EMURGE Night Mas 2026 takes place on Saturday 31 October, 7pm to midnight, in Scarborough, Tobago, during Tobago Carnival weekend (30 October to 1 November).1 Instead of a daylight road march, the band crosses after dark with a drumline and a stage crossing.

A TT$300 (US$45) deposit secures a costume, and your costume is not held until a payment is made.2
How to register
Pick a section and size on the EMURGE website and reserve online; you get a confirmation and a QR collection pass by email.
