What it is
EMURGE's Night Mas is the band's 2026 presentation, Sambadrome: Echoes of Rio, played on the Saturday night of Tobago Carnival weekend. Inspired by the samba school parades of Rio de Janeiro's Sambódromo, it swaps the daylight road march for a night crossing with a drumline and a stage crossing.
Getting in
To play, reserve a costume on the EMURGE website: four sections from TT$550 to TT$795, with a TT$300 deposit to hold yours. See the EMURGE band page for the sections.
